Here are my top tips for getting a good night’s sleep so you feel refreshed and ready the next morning:

  • Create a peaceful place.  A dark, quiet room that serves a primary purpose of rest.
  • Monitor your intake.  Avoid caffeine in the afternoon.  Avoid heavy late dinners.
  • Tell your body it is time to rest.  Deny all screens.  Do peaceful activities (conversation, herbal tea, reading).
  • Settle your mind.  Consider journaling, meditation, prayer.
