I am a big proponent of this approach (Why You Should Aim for 100 Rejections A Year) in life, career, and business.

  • In fundraising, you know that you are getting out and about and asking for money, if you are getting “no” responses.
  • In writing, you know you are putting yourself out there if you are getting rejections.
  • In business, you know that you are pushing yourself if you are hitting roadblocks.

That is how you know you are growing in your craft and in your influence, you are facing the 3 Rs: “no” responses, rejections, and roadblocks.

So don’t be discouraged by the 3 Rs, they are just confirmation that you are on the RIGHT path.
