Wineries and breweries are an important part of Indy’s business sector, arts and culture efforts, restaurant scene, and night life.

I’ve always enjoyed Easley Winery in downtown Indianapolis!   (Like them on Facebook! Follow them on Twitter!)  But I hadn’t been in awhile… So, when I returned recently, I was so thrilled.

The afternoon at Easley’s was extra special because West Coast Tacos stopped by.  (To keep track of the truck, like them on Facebook, and follow them on Twitter!)

I just discovered New Day Meadery in Fountain Square.  And, boy, am I glad I did!  The owners are a cute married couple – creating wine from honey and sharing their passion with customers.  Go and enjoy the tastings, buy a bottle, and get a growler, too!  (Like them on Facebook! Follow them on Twitter!)

I’m not really a beer gal – I usually leave that to the crew over at Girls Pint Out.  But, I would be remiss not to mention the great atmosphere and good selections available at Tomlinson Tap Room at the City Market Downtown. (Like them on Facebook! Follow them on Twitter!)
