Opening night at the movie theatre couldn’t have been any better! Last night, my husband and I watched and thoroughly enjoyed POM Wonderful Presents: THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER SOLD.
Remember the guy who ate a disgusting amount of McDonald’s meals in the documentary, Super Size Me? Well, filmmaker Morgan Spurlock is at it again – serving as the lab rat in his own social experiment! This time, the film focuses on product placement, co-promotion, and brand sponsorships in the movie industry.
I recommend POM Wonderful Presents: THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER SOLD for all kinds of people:
- If you are a consumer, get schooled on the complex ways brands are trying to reach out and convince you that they are the greatest ever.
- If you are a movie buff, discover how the sponsoring corporations and the artists (writers, directors) arm wrestle over important decisions.
