When you want to book a speaking gig, take time to consider who your “ideal client” is.  But remember, the ideal client is the person who pays you.

So your ideal client may be an event manager, a convention director, an association president, or a board chair.

That is who you need to connect with in order to get a speaking gig.

As you are booking different events, you may also want to consider who is your ideal audience.  You would prefer an ideal audience who is full of decision makers who can refer you or book you for other opportunities.
