What’s your handle?  How do you fit that into 140 characters?  What should your avatar be?

These questions highlight one of the top reasons why I love social media.  Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other networking sites force organizations to figure out what their brand is REALLY about.

Your brand is the true essence of your organization – its character, personality, and values.

Your brand is more than a corporate style sheet or a logo usage policy.

Your brand must transcend image size restrictions, character limitations, and unavailable user names.

So, what is your brand really about? Please leave a comment with the challenges your organization has faced in figuring out its brand on social media.
