Today, I had the privilege of hearing Louisa Schumacher’s Innovation Series Presentation on Fearless Leadership and Educational Session, “Why ‘Good Enough’ Is Not Enough.”
I call it a privilege because of her enthusiasm and expertise for her nonprofit work.
Here are some of the key points of application for your nonprofit leadership:
- Change is difficult for organizations. Strong leadership will engage board and staff members – asking difficult questions and grappling with complex solutions.
- Collaboration provides great opportunities to your organization, but take your time. Establish infrastructure internally, and take your time in finding a good match for your organization.
- Sustainability is critical to an organization’s future. Funding diversification is necessary for long-term success.
